Prepaid Function
1. General:
Traditional prepaid electric meter is normally working by the means
of Multi-Card One Meter, electricity consumption measurement or No
Card to deduct the purchased electricity (unit: kWh ) after being
inserted into IC Card. However, the price fluctuation of
electricity market which cannot reflect in the purchased
electricity will increase the losses of Power Company.
For this purpose, a new designed prepaid electric meter Model No.
DDSY150 D/F/A issued by Radarking adopts the electricity fee (
Unit: CNY) way, that is, when the fee is transmitted into through
Client IC Card and the meter will deduct the price of electricity (
0.1kWh as base ) according to the unit price, which is set on the
IC Card to be transferred into the meter. When the electricity rate
changes, the unit price of electricity in the meter will also be
changed through the communication medium IC card that the modified
unit price are written into from the vending system.

Credit data transfered from a point of sale (POS) orvending system

When the residual energyis 0 or the allowable overdraft that both
sides agreed, this meter will
sendout power-off signal to have load switch cut off power.
The power will berecovered automatically after inputting new
purchased energy amount.
● Programmable low creditwarning
The meter can beprogrammed for setting user credit warning
threshold,
When the meter's residualenergy is equal to credit warning threshold, the meter will start theaudio
& video warning function in a way of warning light flashing
● Tamper detection
With event recording function (includingcover-opening event, tamper
event and power failure event)

4. Display and Appreance:
Safety precautions:
＊ Do not connect the meter to a 3 phase - 415V AC - network.
＊ Place the meter only in dry surroundings.
＊ Make sure the used wires are suitable for the max current the
meter can measure.
＊ Do not touch the meter connecting clamps directly with your bare
hands, with metal, blank wire or other material as you will have
the chance of an electricity shock and a possible chance for health
damage.
＊ Make sure the protection cover is placed after installation and
has been sealed.
＊ Installation, maintenance and repair should only be done by a
certified electrician.
＊ Never break the seals or open the front cover as this might
influence the functionality of the meter.
＊ Do not mount the meter in area's with harm gas, dust, mildew or
insects or on unstable surfaces.
